27-09-2021

This is the story of 48 years old man, Ganesh. He is suffering from mental illness. His family is not ready to take care of him. He does not have any financial support to take proper treatment. He lives in a slum along with his two dogs. He used to search for food from the trash cans to feed themselves and survive. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he used to find it very difficult to get food for himself and his two dogs.

One day he saw food distribution by Navjeevan Society in collaboration with Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust, which feeds needy people for free. From that day onwards, he comes and eats there every day and feeds his two dogs too.

He is very thankful to Ratna Nidhi for initiating the Mission Million Khichdi program which helps every on-street poor individual in different localities. He respects the quality and variety of food and lives happily with his dogs.
