Everyday 25 students are fed with our nutrition rich food in the Mumbai smiles NGO. Mumbai Smiles is an NGO, founded in 2005 by the journalist and writer, Jaume Sanllorente, which focuses its action on the peaceful fight against poverty and for Human Rights in some of the most deprived areas of Asia such as India, Bangladesh and Nepal. These children come from poor economic backgrounds and do not have access to healthy food. Our food ensures their proper growth by eradicating hunger. Special thali with Roti, Potato Sabzi, Moong Pulses and sheera was given to them.
25 dishes were distributed to students in Chikitsak school. Most of the kids can't afford to have tiffin boxes and avail the dish provided by our trust. We also provide 40 meals to students at Chikitsak school daily.
220 story and picture books were provided to the kids of pre-primary in Desh seva samiti school, Mumbai. 150 students are studying in the pre-primary section and they all come from underprivileged backgrounds.
