Bomb Blasts of 13 July 2011

 The city of Mumbai has become very susceptible to such terror attacks and bomb blasts and it has become very common place to hear about such an occurring. Recently, the city witnessed one more such blast on the 13^th of July 2011. 17 were killed and 131 injured leaving behind their helpless families and dependents.

Ratna Nidhi has identified 19 children who have lost their father/mother and 22 whose father/mother was injured. Thus there are a total of 41 children who can be benefited by our Educational Sponsorship Program (ESP).

Their first Scholarship Cheques were given out on 18th and 25th November 2011, in the presence of Hon.Mr R.R Patil-Home minister of Maharashtra, Mr. J. Ribero-Rtrd IPS officer and Chief of Force One Mr. Sadanand Date.

The students are progessing very well in their academics, an area that would have been neglected if not for the sponsorship cheques that they continue to receive on a regular basis.
