In the third phase of Vision 10000, RatnaNidhi Charitable Trust in association with Essilor Vision Foundation & Titan Eye Plus organized a FREE Eye Camp to screen 118 BMC workers of the conservation department.
The camp was conducted on the 8th of August at the BMC office in D Ward.The camp was inaugurated by the Shri Vishvas Mote, Assistant Municipal Commissioner, D Ward, Mumbai Municipal Corporation. At the camp, eye measurements and screening for cataract were done by an optometrist from Titan Eye Plus.
Fine quality lenses, provided by Essilor Vision Foundation, will be fitted into spectacles and the ready spectacles will be distributed for free to all the BMC workers prescribed by the optometrist within 4 weeks of the screening camp.
The BMC workers will also be provided with FREE cataract surgery by Vision Foundation of India, Babulnath.
