"It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving."- Mother Teresa
This is exactly what we could see at Ananda Yaan - Byculla centre on 8th October which culminates the Daan Utsav ,that whole of India is celebrating - “Joy of giving week “.
Daan utsav was celebrated by the members in the most unique way - they donated prosthetic legs to people who could not stand on their own until yesterday!!
Byculla Anandan yaan members of Rotary club of Bombay in association with Dignity Foundation collected funds and donated Jaipur Foot to three physically disabled people through Ratna Nidhi Charitable trust.
Ratna Nidhi Trust kindly organised these three Beneficiaries to go to anandayaan centre with their super efficient team and technician .
1) Md. Mustafa age 45.
2)Pandurang Coge age 79
3)Md Shahid Ansari age 45
These beneficiaries are almost same age as Ananda Yaan members, they were welcomed with gifts that members bought for them from their own savings.
Ratna nidhi technicians attached the Jaipur legs in front of everyone who could see the whole process .
All three beneficiaries were overwhelmed by this gesture of beautiful human beings , senior citizens who themselves come from not such privileged backgrounds.
Beneficiary after wearing his foot stood on his own and did a small prayer starting with Gayatri mantra.
Rotarian Charu Agrawal arranged snacks for beneficiaries , their family members accompanying them and all 80 Ananda Yaan members.

The Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust has employed three graduates of Mann - Center for Individuals with Special Needs; Dilshad, Silvester and Ajinkya who have been working since January' 2018. The Mann Team is very grateful to them for the support the entire team has provided through the journey of training and working independently.
Their key roles involve the packaging and folding of clothes, sorting and packaging of books. The Mann graduates are very happy working at the Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust. Additionally, I would like to make a special mention of the entire Team that works with our graduates on a daily basis. They treat them just like anyone of themselves. And lend their helping hand whenever necessary to make it a barrier free and inclusive work space for our graduates.
