Dharamshala Camp for the Disabled - TV News in Himachal Pradesh

Rotary district 3070 will be the support of people who have lost their hands and feet, artificial hands will be installed without taking any money, get registration done with photo.

Rotary Club District 3070, Rotary District 3141, Courtesy of Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust Mumbai has taken initiative to help the differently-abled. For those who do not have limbs, the club will implant prostheses free of cost at no cost. A special camp is being organized on behalf of Rotary District 3070, Rotary District 3141 and Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust from 19th to 21st September at the Police Ground of Dharamsala to install free artificial limbs. Along with the registration in this camp, the measurement of the organs of the disabled people will also be taken. The chairman of the camp, Rotarian VS Parmar, said that this type of camp is being set up for the first time in North India. A free camp will be organized at Police Ground, Dharamsala in association with Rotary Club Bombay Worli Mumbai from 10 to 12 November for implantation of artificial limbs. Any person from the country can come to the camp and take advantage of this facility. Registration is required to enter the camp. At the time of registration, a photograph of a severed hand will have to be sent, so that the prosthetic hand can be made accordingly. A special medical team will be present in the camp so that the person does not face any kind of problem after the implantation of the prosthesis, which will inform about the precautions to be taken after implanting the limb. Dr. Vijay Sharma, the secretary of the camp, said that our aim is to give a normal life to the human being. For this we will not give any item to a person without the advice of the doctor. Rotarian Prem Sood informed that on this occasion, Rotary Club will also distribute five thousand school books and warm clothes to the students of class 10th to 12th. Rotarian Rajesh Sharma, Rotarian Rakesh Sharma, Rotarian Dr. Satish Sood, and PC Bhagat, Rotarian Yashpal Sabarbhal were present on this occasion.
