We were happy to see them engrossed in selecting books. Getting children involved at a young age helps to increase their interest in reading and helps them create a better future.
Our kids celebrated Dr. Abdul Kalam's birth anniversary at the Crosswords bookstore, which had organized an excellent book reading event along with an inspiring puppet show. The event also had Maharashtra's Education Minister Mr. Vinod Tawde who addressed the kids while talking on the importance of reading and shared his own experience of learning through reading books.

'Stop Hunger Now' and JP Morgan supported our 'Food for Education' program by providing us 100 meals boxes 21, 600 dehydrated healthy meals.
Ratna Nidhi is thankful to all the volunteers of JP and the 'Stop Hunger' team for all their efforts. The program feeds 4500 kids in various schools in Mumbai and its suburbs.
On 5th October, volunteers from Piramal Foundation organized a Food Drive at one of our beneficiary schools and distributed vegetarian meals to 300 children as part of the Joy Of Giving Week.
