This Mumbai Marathon we had 107 runners supporting our disability project. The support raised will benefit 110 disable people in Mumbai.
Our motivational zone was filled with energy after one of our beneficiary who is physically challenged took the runners by surprise with her melodious voice. Her high spirit made lot of senior and young runners stop by and sing along with her.
Our photo booth supporting the disability cause was houseful till the very end with visitors clicking selfies with creative props.
We had many corporate, Ngos supporting and cheering for us thus attracting lot of by standers and non – participants.
We had two physically challenged person using our Jaipur foot showed their support by participating in the dream run.
The main purpose of the Motivational Zone is to provide motivation to hundreds and thousands of Marathoners by cheering them and playing inspirational songs, performing dances etc.
But for an NGO it is a smartly devised platform where an NGO can build maximum awareness of their cause amongst around 40,000 runners who take part in the Marathon.
Apart from the awareness generated, NGOs also stand a chance to win a cash prize as a donation to forward their cause and transform many more lives.
The NGO with the best portrayal of their cause and crowd engagement has higher chances of winning.
