1. NITIN KHANAPURKAR

Nitin Khanapurkar

An accomplished professional with over 28 years of work experience, Mr. Khanapurkar has demonstrated success in the last one decade as a business leader in directing growth, driving expansion and streamlining operations for global professional services firms operating in locations as diverse as in the Middle East, UK, USA, South Africa and India.

He and his family have been working with and mentoring many NGOs over last 3 decades including Ratna Nidhi. His mother was the Principal of Smt. Kamala Mehta Dadar School for the blind, for 28 years. She is recipient of the prestigious Smt. Diwaleeben Mehta life time achievement award for her contribution in the field of visually impaired. His father was a trustee of NASEOH for over two decades.

Mr.Khanapurkar is currently serving as the Global Head of Governance at Apex Fund Services Ltd. and based in London. A Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai, a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a Cost Accountant (AICWA) from India, he has several other international certifications to credit from ISACA, ISC2, BCI, CFE and TOGAF. He is also the First Indian Fellow member of the BCI, UK and in 2010, he was awarded, in London, for his contribution in the field of BCM. He has also pursued an Executive Leadership Development Program at Harvard Business School and ISB Hyderabad.

As a recognized industry commentator, he has served as a member on the board of prestigious committees and industry bodies. He has written several white papers and co-authored books on Cloud for KPMG and Cloud Security for ISACA, USA. He has also been a speaker at the TEDx Event in 2010.

 

2. DR. RAVI BHALLAMUDI

 Dr. Ravi Bhallamudi

Prof. B. Ravi is an Institute Chair Professor of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Bombay and founder of BETiC – Biomedical Engineering & Technology incubation Centre. In the last 25 years he led several inter-disciplinary multi-institutional R&D projects, leading to indigenous products, startup companies and social impact. He guided the development of AutoCAST and FLOW+ software used in 150 foundries and institutes. Ten medical devices developed in BETiC have been licensed to startups, industry or NGOs. These have won prestigious awards and benefitted many patients.

Prof. Ravi has guided 14 PhD and 80 Masters students. He shared the relevant knowledge through 250 technical papers, 300 invited or conference talks, and 60 training programmes benefiting several thousand teachers and working professionals. His books on Metal Casting, and Medical Device Innovation are widely appreciated. More than 25 institutes are part of E-foundry or BETiC network. As a member of many advisory councils and review committees, Prof. Ravi is also contributing to best practices and policies related to translational research and product innovation. These efforts have been recognized by several awards, as well as INAE Fellowship and Abdul Kalam Technology Innovation National Fellowship.

 

3. Prof. Rukaiya Joshi

Prof. Rukaiya Joshi

Rukaiya Joshi –Frmr Professor and Chairperson for Center of Education in Social Sector at SPJIMR, where she conceptualized and headed two initiatives, Abhyudaya and CEdSS. The Post Graduate Programme in Development Management designed for Management of NGOs and CSR got an international accreditation in 2020 as a unique programme globally. She is instrumental in getting 6 awards for her initiatives.

She has over 4 decades of teaching experience up to MPhil. She led Board Of Studies at the University of Mumbai to restructure all the courses UG 7 PG and added new commerce courses. She has been paper setter and chief moderator.

She has presented papers at National and International conferences (invited twice to USA) and has published research papers in peer review journals (one of them given an award). She is a visiting faculty, consultant to B Schools and Engineering colleges in Maharashtra, on management & academic committees of educational institutions in Mumbai. She has been on jury panels and Audit committee of many CSR organisations and NGOs.

She is on the board of NGOs in Mumbai and Gujarat. She was a trustee with Baba Amte at Jabhua. She is mentoring, advising many NGOs and CSR across India and over 35 years, has led many grassroots projects. She is a core committee member of ACCA of UNGCNI. She is consulting and training development sector to SROI and SDGs, Volunteer Management, etc.

Her area of work and research interest is Gandhian Studies, Women empowerment, Experiential Learning, Indian Philosophy in Management Education.
